Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI)

At Mosaic, our Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) programs are designed to give young children the best possible start through meaningful, individualised support that builds skills, promotes independence, and strengthens relationships.

Rooted in the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), our EIBI programs are delivered in a way that is neurodiversity-affirming, developmentally appropriate, and family-centred. We work in partnership with families to support each child’s unique strengths, interests, and needs.

What is EIBI?

EIBI is an evidence-based approach that provides structured and consistent learning opportunities for young children with developmental delays or autism. Programs are typically:
  • Delivered during the early years (ages 2–6)
  • Tailored to the individual needs of each child
  • Focused on core developmental areas such as communication, social interaction, play, independence, and emotional regulation
  • Built around the child’s interests, learning style, and family priorities

Our approach is never about compliance or sameness, it’s about creating opportunities for growth, engagement, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
